Deep Inside Show presents Jef K exclusive Mix

Deep Inside Show presents Jef K exclusive Mix

A native of Paris, Jef K started mixing records in 1992 after spending nine months in London. His groovy and sexy house sets made him quickly earn a reputation as one of the fastest rising DJs amongst the french house scene.

Jef has a bi-monthly Saturday residency at the legendary Rex Club since 1998 and is a resident for the Respect nights all over the world (including a residency at club Fuse in Brussels from 1999 to 2003). He's also one of the main residents at infamous parisian parties Open House since 2002 and at Sven Vath's club Cocoon in Frankfurt since the opening in 2004.

In 1999, Jef teamed up with his brother Antoine, aka DJ Tony Silver, to launch the Silver Network and Fast Forward FFWD record labels. Silver Network’s first release by Iz & Diz- the What We Need EP, appeared in the Hype Chart of DJ Magazine and was given four stars by MUZIK. It was later remixed by Pepe Bradock and Freaks.

In 2009, Jef relaunched Silver Network with a disco-house cut he done with fellow parisian producer Chris Carrier. Huge success followed this year with his remix of The Gathering's "In My System" and the recent release of Jef & Gwen Maze's "Want You Back" has been receiving rave reviews.

Jack Union presents Jeff Doubleu

Jack Union presents Jeff Doubleu

At 20 years old Jeff Doubleu is no new kid on the house music block. In the past three years he's created over 50 originals and remixes, releasing on some of the world's biggest underground labels including Jack Union, Southern Fried, and Dim Mak.

Mr. Doubleu has remixed the likes of Diplo & Laidback Luke, Hijack, Larry Tee and Dirty South, and his original productions have gained support from some of the dance world's biggest names including Switch and the Crookers. His collaboration project with Tom EQ as the Potato Heads has also taken house music by storm - with their chart-topping smash "Trumpet Dance" and remix of TJR's massive "Booty Move" blowing up dance floors worldwide.

Jeff's DJ sets are action-packed with jacking beats and bottom-heavy grooves and his skills have blessed the decks across Europe and beyond, including residencies at Electrocute and Phunkers (Holland) and tours of Australia and South Africa. 2010 is set to be a big year for Jeff with new solo releases and a collaboration with Hijack set for release on Jack Union, and more Potato Heads tracks and remixes in the pipeline.

Truth presents Stranger Than Fiction

Truth presents Stranger Than Fiction

Truth, undoubtedly New Zealand’s greatest Dubstep export; release their debut album ‘Puppets’ through Australian label Aquatic Lab. Their sound encompasses an array of melodies, vocals and spacious beats that range from half-step stompers to deeper, profound realms of sound. One common element underpins every track though: a heavy bassline riddim.

Truth is Andre Ferndandez, Tristan Roake and Julian Van Uden. Hailing from Christchurch NZ, one of the world’s southernmost cities, the theory that isolation breeds creativity has never been as apt as it is for Truth.

To celebrate the launch of the album the guys have put together an exclusive mix for samurai highlighting some choice cuts from the LP alongside some heavyweights dubs from the likes of Datsik, Crushington, Distance & Cyrus, and more. Enjoy!

Kollektiv Turmstrasse presents 'Rebellion der Träumer' album in the mix

Kollektiv Turmstrasse presents 'Rebellion der Träumer' album in the mix

Kollektiv Turmstrasse will be releasing their debut album 'Rebellion der Träumer', on November 15th. To celebrate this release here we present this album-in-the-mix and a message from them.

"For the past months, we have been living solely for this project, and together with this venture of our heart, we have grown. 'Rebellion der Träumer' (Rebellion Of The Dreamers) is so much more than an album to us. It reflects our development over the past years, assimilating experienced impressions and presenting another side of Kollektiv Turmstrasse. It reveals our true nature and what we really are: Träumer ‐ dreamers. A great deal of love, time and passion was invested into this album, aiming to touch both heart and mind, and to entrain you on a musical journey. Meanwhile, our soundtrack for dreamers had inspired several artists, filmmakers and graphic designers to work on the visualisation of some pieces. By and by, music and films will be made public on

Deep Inside Show presents Feygin

Deep Inside Show presents Feygin

Feygin's influences include, Prince, Th Beatles. Louie Vega, Jimpster, Herbie Hancock, Jazztronik, Dop, Will Smith, Billy Joel and Woody Allen. He loves anything that flows smoothly, whether its into his ear or into his belly.

Feygin comes from a family where everyone played some sort of instruments. Yet, he never learned to play anything himself. About 2 years ago he decided he will make dance music, or his own interpretation of it. So far he is doing well.
You can call his style an eclectic mix of dance music and its' various sub genres. As long as it grooves, Feygin is on it. At some point in his life, he'd like to be able to collaborate with real live musicians, and really push dance music to its' boundaries.

Soul loves Groove
In September I was invited by Rhythm & Culture Music and Eighteenth Street Lounge to be a part of Rhythm & Culture's release party for their first ever label compilation, The Sound of Rhythm & Culture. It was a great night, featuring a live performance by Second Sky. They did a mixture of their own songs along with some Thomas Blondet and Farid numbers. The night was shared with DJ Sean Haney's weekly Do It Properly night, so it also featured Soul Brazil live upstairs with Names Thompson on percussion. This is my opening set from that night. I hope you enjoy it.
